Performance Management can done in various ways including as a regular formal process of reviewing an employee’s abilities and capabilities and recognising achievements and opportunities.

Alternatively it can be used as part of the Disciplinary process steps seeking improvement in compliance, attitude and or work outcomes which may include a warning about the future of employment.

The so called ‘three step warning process’ is a myth and in reality the penalty must fit the conduct.
